TLT increases Chambers rankings in North West

77 TLT lawyers have been ranked as leaders in their field in Chambers UK 2021.

TLT ranked top in 7 different practice areas, including banking litigation, employment, licensing, and restructuring and insolvency. The firm was also ranked in 17 other practice areas.

14 TLT lawyers are ranked top in their practice area, three of which are newly ranked in Band 1 this year, including Manchester-based partner David Gardner, recognised for his work in the Information Technology practice area.

TLT’s real estate and real estate litigation practices in the North West moved up the rankings to Band 4 and Band 3 respectively.

Of TLT’s real estate practice, clients said: “They are a fantastic firm – very responsive to client queries and always contactable.”

Clients also described our North West IT practice as “very approachable, agile and more innovative than other firms.”

Manchester-based Matthew Forrest, real estate litigation partner, and employment partner Ed Cotton, have moved up the rankings into Band 3 and Band 2 respectively. Legal director Julie Goulbourne is one of four newly ranked ‘associates to watch’ from across the firm.

John Wood, who was appointed as TLT’s managing partner in April this year, has been newly ranked as an ‘eminent practitioner’.
