What if one of Greater Manchester’s most impactful business events wasn’t in the city centre… but on a farm in Bolton?

On Wednesday 3rd June 2026, The Wellbeing Farm will host Good for Growth (B Corp Fest), a one-day, festival-style experience bringing together businesses from across Greater Manchester and beyond.
Now in its fifth year, Good for Growth has grown from a small idea into a flagship event for businesses who want to combine commercial success with positive impact and it’s proudly rooted in Bolton.
Across the day, we bring together founders, leaders and sustainability pioneers to explore how purpose-led business is driving:
- Stronger brands and customer loyalty
- More resilient and future-ready organisations
- Better workplace cultures
- Meaningful environmental and social impact
You’ll hear from speakers including:
- Chris Turner, CEO, B Lab UK
- Masami Sato, Founder, B1G1
- Maxine and Darcy Laceby, Absolute Collagen
- Lucy Traynor, former Purpose Lead at Deloitte UK
But what makes Good for Growth different is the setting and the atmosphere. This isn’t a conference centre. It’s a working, B Corp-certified venue where ideas feel more open, conversations flow more easily, and connections happen naturally.
A key message from the day:
B Corp is not just about the badge. It’s about building better businesses.
Even if certification isn’t your goal, you’ll learn how to use the B Impact Assessment as a practical tool to:
- Measure what matters
- Identify opportunities for improvement
- Take action in a way that supports growth
Also as Greater Manchester thrives on collaboration, the day ends with a relaxed connection over cocktails session to continue conversations and build relationships.
An invitation to the pro-manchester community
If you’re looking to:
- Connect with purpose-driven businesses across Greater Manchester
- Gain practical insights you can apply immediately
- Experience something different from the usual city-centre event
We’d love you to join us in Bolton.
