In line with its consistent growth, DTE Business Advisers are pleased to announce the promotion of two members of staff to Audit Managers, following their 3 years of training at the firm and extensive work done for DTE clients – SMEs in various sectors across the Greater Manchester and North West region.

Hannah and Lauren joined DTE as graduate trainees, both qualifying as Chartered Accountants in 2018 and have worked at the company for 5 years and 4 years respectively. Both work in our Audit and Advisory team supporting businesses throughout the North West. Lauren also specialises in working with Professional Practices.

In their new position as Audit Managers, Hannah and Lauren will continue to work closely with clients to support them in their needs, overseeing audit fieldwork as well as supervising the training of juniors.
Fiona O’Loughlin, Director and Head of Audit at DTE Business Advisers, said: “Promoting Hannah and Lauren to Managers reflects DTE’s ethos of nurturing and rewarding talented staff as we continue in our mission to provide unrivalled hands-on service to our clients. We wish them both every success in their new roles.”

Hannah said: “I am glad I made the decision to undertake a career in Audit and Accountancy with DTE. As DTE are a mid-size practice I have been able to gain experience in a range of services from Audit & Accounts, Tax and Corporate Finance. This variety has allowed me to grasp the aspirations and challenges our clients face more thoroughly whilst building a strong rapport with our clients. I am looking forward to developing these relationships further in my new role.”

Lauren said: “A lot of our clients at DTE are owner-managed businesses, and so there is both the need and the opportunity for us to work closely with them to make sure we deliver measurable benefits and help them extract maximum shareholder value. That helps me enhance both the hard skills and soft skills essential to a chartered accountant as well”.
