Zouk Tea Bar & Grill Launches Premium England World Cup 2026 Screening Experience in Manchester

15th June 2026, 3:56 pm

Manchester restaurant and cocktail destination Zouk Tea Bar & Grill has announced plans to screen every England World Cup 2026 group stage match live on its mezzanine level, offering football fans a more comfortable and premium alternative to overcrowded sports bars and standing-room-only venues.

Located on Chester Street in Manchester city centre, Zouk will transform its mezzanine into a seated World Cup viewing experience complete with two large screens, reserved seating, cocktails, beers, curries and table service.

Unlike many city-centre venues expected to become heavily overcrowded during the tournament, Zouk is positioning its screenings as a more relaxed and enjoyable way to watch England’s biggest games.

Guests can enjoy a specially created England Match Night Package priced at £29 per person, which includes:

  • Poppadom’s and chutneys on arrival
  • Any curry or biryani from the main menu (excluding lamb shank and lobster specials)
  • Choice of naan bread, rice or chips
  • One drink including Cobra beer, wine, cocktail or soft drink

Popular menu dishes include Butter Chicken, Chicken Karahi, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Laziz and Zouk’s signature biryanis. The restaurant’s extensive drinks menu also features cocktails including Espresso Martinis, Porn Star Martinis, Mojitos and Aperol Spritzes.

To further enhance the match-day atmosphere, Zouk will also offer pre-bookable Cobra beer buckets for groups and corporate bookings.

England’s confirmed World Cup 2026 group stage fixtures include:

  • England vs Croatia – Wednesday 17 June – 9pm
  • England vs Ghana – Tuesday 23 June – 9pm
  • Panama vs England – Saturday 27 June – 10pm

Zouk’s mezzanine has seating capacity for approximately 80 guests, with all screenings expected to operate on an advance-booking basis through the Zouk website. Guests can arrive from 8:00pm allowing time to settle and enjoy their food before kick-off.

The screenings are designed to appeal to football fans looking for a more premium and social viewing experience, ideal for couples, groups of friends and corporate entertaining.

“We know many venues across Manchester will be absolutely packed during the World Cup,” said Tayub Amjad, Founder at Zouk Tea Bar & Grill.

“Our aim is to create something different — somewhere guests can enjoy the game comfortably with a proper seat, excellent food, cocktails and a great atmosphere, without the chaos of an overcrowded sports bar.”

In addition to the screenings themselves, guests can also enjoy Zouk’s outdoor terrace before and after matches, alongside desserts, cocktails, wines and premium drinks packages.

Advance booking is strongly recommended due to limited seating.
