Andy Round

Andy Round is a director at Praetura Ventures and boasts expansive knowledge of the life sciences sector. As well as being a highly experienced investor, Andy is an accomplished scientist, having graduated from Leeds University with a PhD in Biochemistry. In addition to overseeing investments into cutting-edge life sciences businesses from our Praetura Ventures EIS Growth Fund, Andy has also been a key player in devising the new £20m GMC Life Sciences Fund By Praetura, which is a partnership between Praetura Ventures, Bruntwood SciTech, Cheshire and Warrington LEP and Greater Manchester Combined Authority. Prior to joining Praetura, Andy led on equity investments for MSIF and Maven.
