Having built his career within a FTSE250 business, Gareth has a proven track record supporting OMBs, SMEs, and PE/VC-backed companies across the North West. His deep-rooted network and understanding of the regional finance landscape make him a trusted advisor for senior finance appointments – and he has successfully supported a broad range of companies, across all industries, in their search for Chief Financial Officer and senior finance professionals.

Gareth has particular expertise in diversity, equity and inclusion, and the impact of his work in this area has been felt across the North West business community. He and his team were heavily involved in the formulation of The 6% Club – a co-operative seeking to empower future female leaders to help move the dial on the percentage of board representation within investor-backed businesses. He also recommended a new award – Changemaker of the Year – to the Rainmaker Awards, an annual awards ceremony hosted in the North West, Yorkshire and the Midlands. This Award recognises the efforts of those working in the corporate finance community to improve diversity, equity and inclusion both in their own firms and in the companies they advise and support.
