Sean is currently a consultant at Harrison Drury. Prior to this he was Head of Professional Sector at Together Money, a specialist lender that has been delivering property finance since 1974 and provides funding on residential, commercial and semi-commercial properties, as well as land and developments, working to support a broad range of individuals and businesses with their short-term and long-term property ambitions.

He was also Head of Customer Banking at Yorkshire Bank in Manchester, responsible for leading customer-facing staff as well as the strategic direction of the banking operation and relationship management team. He has more than 30 years’ experience in retail, business and commercial banking for the Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank Group, and lead the North West team through a period of transformational change as the business integrated its Virgin Money acquisition.

I’m a passionate and highly driven people leader with extensive commercial experience at the helm of customer and board facing banking and finance operations. Adept at creating and growing new sales channels through identifying and maximising market opportunities, forging strategic partnerships and a common-sense relationship ethos. Demonstrated success developing high performing teams and growing new/existing businesses through transforming under-performing areas. Significant experience of leading cultural change with a keen focus on regulatory compliance and delivery of customer satisfaction metrics. Proven track-record of planning and monitoring budgets, administering commercial profit centres, including new sales volumes/business origination, income and margin delivery and balance sheets. Substantial negotiations flair with proven ability to establish, influence and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders and C-Suite Execs.

A passionate advocate for pro-manchester, Sean is excited around the opportunity to work with the Board and membership to continue to further the ambitions, aspirations and potential of this great city.
