Steve Jones
With over 30 years’ experience in health, social care and addiction recovery, Steve Jones has dedicated his career to improving the wellbeing of individuals, families, and communities affected by substance misuse and mental health challenges.
Beginning his career in Youth and Community Services, Steve developed early interventions for young people and families impacted by addiction, later leading one of the North West’s largest drug and alcohol charities. His leadership and passion for quality care have shaped the delivery of compassionate, effective treatment services across the UK.
Now Deputy CEO at Steps Together Group, Steve continues to drive the organisation’s mission to change lives through high-quality, person-centred care. He is also deeply committed to workplace wellbeing, helping employers and teams recognise, prevent and respond to issues such as stress, burnout, and addiction within professional environments.
Recognised twice by HM The Queen for his outstanding contribution to social care, Steve remains an advocate for innovation and collaboration between public, private, and corporate wellbeing initiatives. His role on the Pro-Manchester Wellbeing Champions Committee allows him to share his expertise and promote healthier, more resilient workplaces across Greater Manchester and beyond.
