Slater Heelis has made a double appointment of Saliha Patel and Emma Sutton as Paralegals within its growing Court of Protection team. Their expertise and dedication will further enhance the firm’s ability to support vulnerable clients and their families in managing their assets and estate.

Saliha Patel brings valuable experience from a leading law firm specialising in Court of Protection services and will play a crucial role in assisting clients with the ongoing management of their affairs, ensuring their needs are met with care and professionalism. In addition to her legal expertise, Saliha is multilingual, speaking Arabic, Gujarati, and Urdu, allowing her to assist clients whose first language is not English; and her ability to translate Wills and legal documents provides an essential service to diverse communities.

Emma Sutton actually began her journey at Slater Heelis in 2022, working within the Business Projects team before realising her passion for a more focused legal role. After two years of experience handling Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Deeds, Emma has transitioned into the Court of Protection team as a Paralegal, where she will continue to support clients with their legal needs.
