The Empowering Women in Business (EWIB) Community Danceathon is officially recruiting participants for its 2026 Manchester event, inviting individuals from across the region to step forward, take on a new challenge, and help raise vital funds for Prevent Breast Cancer.
The annual Danceathon has become a standout event in the business and charity calendar, uniting professionals and community members for an unforgettable experience that combines fundraising, fitness, teamwork and plenty of fun — all in support of a life-saving cause.
Last year’s event saw 35 dedicated dancers come together to raise an incredible £50,000 for Prevent Breast Cancer, funding essential research and education aimed at predicting and preventing the disease. Organisers are now setting their sights even higher for 2026 and are calling on new recruits to join the Manchester crew to help make this year’s event the biggest yet.
Participants will commit to training, fundraising, and performing as part of a supportive and empowering team environment. No professional dance experience is required — just enthusiasm, commitment, and a passion for making a difference.
The EWIB Community Danceathon offers more than just a fundraising opportunity. It provides a platform for personal growth, team building, and meaningful community impact, all while supporting groundbreaking work to stop breast cancer before it starts.
