How wellbeing drives productivity, performance and retention.

Workplace wellbeing is often still viewed as an employee benefit, but we believe it should be a business strategy. When organisations invest in the health and wellbeing of their people, they create greater engagement, stronger performance and improved retention. Employees who feel supported are more likely to contribute positively, collaborate effectively and remain committed to their workplace. We spend a lot of our lives at work, so creating an environment where you can thrive makes perfect sense.

Evie’s 8 Top Tips for Keeping Well at Work and Prioritising Wellbeing as a Team.

  1. Bring people together through shared experiences:  Team wellbeing thrives when colleagues connect, whether through Feast & Flow lunches, team activities or opportunities to learn together.
  2. Regular check-ins: Not just from a manager stand point. Create opportunities for open conversations about workload, wellbeing and individual needs.
  3. Lead by example:  Managers who model healthy behaviours, such as taking breaks and maintaining boundaries, encourage their teams to do the same.
  4. Regular movement throughout the day: (my personal favourite)
Lunchtime walks, desk stretching or walking meetings can all help improve energy, focus and physical health.
  5. Promote work-life balance: Respect working hours and encourage employees to disconnect and recharge outside of work. Ensure others feel comfortable switching off at the end of the day and taking annual leave without guilt.
  6. Support psychological safety: Create a culture where people feel comfortable sharing ideas, concerns and challenges without fear of judgement.
  7. Recognise and celebrate achievements: Regular recognition can boost morale and motivation. Even a quick thank you or acknowledgement can have a powerful impact.
  8. Encourage healthy habits: Promote hydration, nutritious eating, quality sleep, stress-management techniques. Wellbeing shouldn’t be reserved for awareness days. Regular discussions help create a culture where health is genuinely valued.

At Feast & Flow, we believe workplace wellbeing should be practical, enjoyable and most importantly sustainable. Remembering that everyone has different wellbeing needs, combining expert knowledge and support with engaging experiences, organisations can create healthier, happier and more connected teams that thrive both personally and professionally.
