We are delighted to present the North West and Manchester Mid-Year Corporate Finance review 2026, provided by Experian market IQ.

SCOPE OF THE REVIEW
This report provides a balanced view of H1 2026 corporate finance activity across the North West, considering both the region as a market and the work delivered by North Westbased advisers. The analysis covers 387 deals involving North West companies, alongside 197 transactions involving North West adviser offices, of which 129 involved Manchester-based advisers. Rather than focusing solely on where transactions took place, the adviser-office perspective highlights where regional expertise is being deployed, including mandates involving parties outside the North West. Consistent with the broader approach adopted in the 2025 review, this provides a fuller picture of the reach and influence of Manchester and the wider North West advisory market.
