Introduce yourself

I’m deeply passionate about bringing people together, at scale, in amazing places and cities. With one purpose.  To celebrate wellbeing, exercise and sport. I was CEO for the Manchester Marathon and Half for 6 years and fell in love with Greater Manchester.  And am focused on delivering major events that impact the region in a powerful and positive way.  Greater Manchester Wellbeing Series is a manifestation of my passion, and love for the region.  Workforce wellbeing for all is our mission.

Career highlight

2021 when we delivered a merged Manchester Marathon and Half – absurdly complex to do – but brought people back together post Covid with the amazing support of a huge number of people in the region.  The spirit and excitement to reconnect in this huge event was defining for me.

Name three words that describe your personality

Passionate, driven, optimistic

What’s the best thing about pro-manchester?

Collaboration coursing through the organisation’s veins

What are your priorities for 2026?

To deliver the world’s first regionwide meditation event, connecting colleagues, industries and communities.  Helping people is the tool of meditation and mindfulness to support wellbeing in the workplace. A mental wellbeing connector for everyday use.

What do you think are the most important things going on in Manchester at the moment?

Cyan lines. Connecting people with accessible nature.  The nerve centre of wellbeing in GM.
