About the Speakers:
Chloe Fletcher is an Associate Director with Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Finance in Manchester. Chloe has worked across the corporate finance landscape, from venture capital fundraising to IPO preparation across a variety of sectors and deal sizes. Prior to joining Alvarez & Marsal, Chloe spent over a decade in the Big 4, and also spent a year in the Investor Relations team at £2bn revenue online retailer The Very Group working on a number of strategic projects which has gleaned a unique perspective and skillset in addition to her advisory experience.
Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Finance is committed to building a diverse corporate finance team – so far 50% of the national team is either female or from a ethnic background. Alex Bodie has worked for a number of high profile finance providers across a variety of asset finance and commercial banking roles over the last 22 years. He joined Together in 2019 and now heads its social housing channel, launched in 2021. Specialising in providing vital funding lines to both registered providers, social landlords and care providers covering both general needs and supported housing. He has passion for social housing and understands the issues faced by housing providers in the sector such as how to create inclusive communities and deliver homes that transform people’s lives today, whilst meeting the needs of the future.
Erin is a Director in Saffery’s Corporate Finance team in Manchester, where she advises ambitious SMEs, entrepreneurial businesses and acquisitive corporates on growth, acquisitions and strategic transactions.
Working across a wide range of sectors, Erin leads financial due diligence engagements for acquisitions, investments and disposals, supporting business owners, management teams and investors in making informed commercial decisions. She particularly enjoys working with businesses pursuing buy-and-build strategies, helping them evaluate opportunities, manage transaction risk and deliver successful acquisitions that support long-term growth.
Erin is passionate about the SME market and enjoys working closely with management teams as they navigate key stages of their business journey. She believes successful transactions are built on strong relationships, commercial insight and a clear understanding of the strategic objectives behind every deal.
