A TOSIMBA Black History Month Experience – Honouring Our Communities
Around Our Table: Food, Connection & Belonging.
What happens when we do more than simply eat together?
Join Beatrice “Bee”, Founder of TOSIMBA-By-Bee, for an interactive lunchtime experience exploring how food, conversation and shared experiences can create stronger connections and a greater sense of belonging.
Inspired by this year’s Black History Month theme, Honouring Our Communities, Around Our Table invites guests to step away from traditional networking and connect with the people around them through food, storytelling and meaningful conversation.
Drawing on Bee’s 20+ years’ experience in HR and Inclusion, alongside the story and purpose behind TOSIMBA, the session will explore what helps people feel connected, valued and that they belong – within our workplaces, organisations and wider communities.
Guests will enjoy a TOSIMBA lunch whilst taking part in facilitated table conversations and an interactive experience designed to encourage people to talk, share, listen and connect beyond job titles.
Whether you work in HR, People & Culture, leadership, wellbeing or inclusion, run your own business, or simply want to experience a different kind of business lunch, there is a place for you Around Our Table.

About the Speakers:
Beatrice is the founder of Tosimba-By-Bee, a business rooted in food, culture, and storytelling. With over 20 years in HR, she has firsthand experience navigating the challenges of maternal mental health while working full-time. After experiencing postnatal depression following the birth of her second son, she developed a deep passion for raising awareness, fostering open conversations, and ensuring that no mother feels alone in her journey—whether in the workplace or the wider community. As a single mother of two, she continues to advocate for support systems that empower women and working parents.
