Significant investment in a region can create opportunities far beyond the developments themselves, bringing new businesses, jobs, infrastructure, partnerships and increased economic activity.

Following a presentation from Nick Smillie on Atom Valley and his white paper, which explores why Rochdale’s strategic location and strong advanced manufacturing workforce put the area in a strong position for future growth, the panel will consider how businesses can make the most of the opportunities this investment could create.

From building the right relationships and understanding emerging supply chains to raising visibility and being ready to respond, our panel will consider what businesses can do to position themselves effectively.

Our speakers will share their experiences and perspectives on recognising opportunities, making connections and preparing for growth, as well as some of the practical steps businesses can take before opportunities arise.

A useful discussion for any business looking to better understand how regional growth can translate into commercial opportunities and how to make sure they are well placed to benefit
