pro-manchester Walking Tours are back for the Summer!

Birthplace and engine of the Industrial Revolution, Manchester has a rich legacy of ambitious transport infrastructure.

With Manchester aiming to be in the top flight of world-class cities by 2025, investing in transport is as important today as it was in Victorian times.

Join Laurie Mentiplay on a new walking tour of the city centre. You’ll see some of the transport triumphs of ‘Cottonopolis’ and some exciting new projects. Places, spaces and buildings you may never have seen before!

Please note the exact meeting place will be emailed to confirmed attendees. As always, we will end the tour with a few drinks and nibbles!
