With a HR career of nearly 25 years, Paul had an unconventional start within the discipline. Starting his career in hotels within Housekeeping. His hands on operational experience giving him an advantage when it came to shaping HR strategy.
His approach has always been straight talking and people first, with a passion for moving businesses forward with people at the forefront.
Paul has maintained his generalist mix, with expertise in ER, Talent, Learning & Development, Comp & Benefits, Organisational Design and DE&I. All areas enabling him to lead a multidisciplined passionate people function.
Paul joined San Carlo in August 2023, driving the future of the business with his team and is already seeing amazing results!
With 30 years of human resources experience, Leigh has established herself as a strategic leader devoted to empowering people and enriching workplace culture. As Director People & Organisation for PUMA UKI since 2020, Leigh leverages her expertise in organisational development and learning to optimise employee growth.
Leigh’s passion for HR began early in her studies, majoring in Organisational Psychology, Employment Law and Economics. She gained valuable experience working for leading companies in South Africa before relocating to the UK. Leigh first joined the PUMA Group in 2018 as Head of People & Organisation for South Africa, drawn to the sports brand’s performance focus, dynamism and innovative spirit.
At PUMA, Leigh focuses on aligning people strategies to business goals, enhancing talent development programs, and fostering an inclusive, purpose-driven work environment. She is particularly passionate about employee well-being and work-life balance, having been a devoted competitive swimmer and athlete herself.
