LGBTQ+ and Allies Networking event

pro-manchester’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee is delighted to invite you to our inaugural LGBTQ+ and Allies Networking event on Thursday 9th February 2023. This is an opportunity to socialise with others in the pro-manchester network on a relaxed and informal basis.

We're also planning to provide a short educational element to the evening. During the evening, we will therefore hear from John Smith, an employment lawyer from TLT LLP and LGBT+ committee member for pro-manchester, outlining how the LGBT+ community is protected at work by the Equality Act 2010. John will be explaining the various forms of discrimination that are prohibited by law, and what you can do if you either experience or witness discrimination at work.

Complimentary welcome drinks will be served from around 5:30-6pm followed by canapes / finger food.

The event is kindly hosted and sponsored by the Manchester Marriott Victoria & Albert Hotel which is located on Water Street (postcode: M3 4JQ).
