Parenthood and caring responsibilities are among the biggest life changes most professionals will ever go through, yet we rarely talk about what they actually do to us at work.

Alongside the joy, complexity and love that comes with raising children or supporting ageing parents, many parents and carers quietly experience shifts in confidence, career identity, social connection and their sense of belonging at work.

This session brings working parents and carers together to have an honest conversation about those changes. From moments of loneliness and loss of identity, to redefining ambition and rebuilding community, we will explore the very human side of balancing career with caring responsibilities at every stage of life.

Expect a relaxed, open discussion that reflects the real experiences of modern working parents and carers. We will share perspectives, stories and practical ideas around how individuals, leaders and organisations can better support people navigating caring roles, both professionally and personally.
