Driver Safety: Whose responsibility is it?

2nd December 2020, 12:08 pm

Lockton, in association with DAC Beachcroft, would like to invite you to the webinar ‘Driver Safety: Whose responsibility is it?’ This fully interactive session is aimed at questioning your own current knowledge and your company’s current policies, processes and procedures with regards to the following driving issues:

  • Speeding and hazard perception
  • Mobile phones
  • Alcohol
  • Drugs
  • Medical conditions

The above issues remain the most common where drivers and employers flout the law and have a massive effect on motor insurance policies. Unfortunately, they also lead to serious and fatal consequences for all those involved.

Therefore, who is actually responsible while driving at work? The employee driving at work or the employer?

This session will take you ‘back to basics’ about your driving knowledge as well as asking and answering questions in real time about your policies and ask you numerous questions about the law, penalties and consequences.

The information gained will influence you to change your and your company’s behaviour towards driving and managing driving at work. However, it will also highlight that if you decide to do nothing, then you need to ask yourself one very important question:
‘Could I live with it?’
