North West based recruitment company, Four Recruitment, is aiming to double its turnover by the end of next year after receiving a six-figure investment secured by Manchester based financial advisors, Sedulo.

The eleven-year-old recruitment business, specialising in finance and HR, has already built a strong presence across the North West and the additional funding will now enable them to achieve further growth plans.

Sedulo Funding Solutions secured £250,000 of funding for the North West company.  The funding is going to be invested in new and existing staff with a detailed training and development programme available to all staff members and support plans to increase the company’s headcount by 100% over the next 12 months.

Operations director Phil Sofield who founded the business alongside sister Claire commented:

“Last year we celebrated our 10-year anniversary. We’ve achieved a lot in those years since our humble beginnings as a finance recruiter in Bolton, including the creation of a number of other service lines – Four HR and Four Practice. This new wave of investment will allow us to continue to develop our teams to be the best in the industry!”

Sedulo Funding Partner, Leyton Jeffs, commented:

“I love working with the team at Four Recruitment! There is a real vibrancy about them and it’s clear that they’re really going places. It’s great to see a business investing in their people like this as it matches our business ethos”

Sales director and co-owner Claire Sofield added:

Sedulo have been our accountants and business advisors for the past two years.  The support and guidance we have received from them has been fantastic and we’d like to thank Paul Cheetham, Leyton Jeffs, Lee Jones and the team for getting us to this point, we’re incredibly excited about the future”.
