North West based, leading accountancy and business advisor Cowgills has this week launched a free ‘Business Support Desk’ for the regions’ businesses who are struggling through the Coronavirus pandemic.

The dedicated unit – The C19 Business Support Team, will provide any North West business with free impartial advice and relevant support on how to best utilise the Government measures now in place and those which may come in the future.

Cowgills partner Paul Stringer commented: “The Government’s intervention and package of support is of course a huge relief for businesses, and we are working with our clients to navigate the various options available.

“We are aware however, that many smaller businesses – who are not working with an advisory firm – will be unsure as to how to access what is on offer.

“We have created the support team to assist local businesses through this incredibly difficult time.  It really is important that we all use our individual skills and expertise to assist others and ensure that businesses and individuals come out on the other side.

“We have unique expertise in working with businesses through challenging times and our support team can really help during this incredibly difficult period.

The C19 Business Support Team will demystify what is available from the Government and work with businesses free of charge to direct them to the best solution for their business.

They can also provide advice and support on other areas which may assist, such as restructure, cash flow modelling, access to funding and tax planning.
