Professional Liverpool and the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) will be teaming up to host this year’s Professionals’ Dinner at the Rum Warehouse.

As in previous years, our goal is to bring the professions of Liverpool together for a celebration of our city’s broad professional network. Join us for a evening of networking with fellow colleagues from the Professional and Business Services sectors of the Liverpool City Region. The evening will start with a drinks reception from 6:00pm followed by dinner at 7:30pm.

Over the course of the evening, guests will hear from two celebrated speakers:

Firstly, Irene Afful, equality, diversity and inclusion expert who will tell guests about the barriers she faced growing up including homelessness, racial abuse from the police and the Toxteth Riots. Following these challenges, Irene became the first female, black Inspector in the history of Merseyside Police and is now able to support organisations in achieving their vision and values. Irene’s vast experience and skills enable businesses to translate passion into profit, use diversity of thought, experience and culture as a benefit and discover the relationship between diversity and profitability. Read more about Irene’s incredible journey here.

“A successful person is one who can build a successful life with the bricks others have thrown at them.” David Brinkley

After dinner, guests will be entertained by Dr. Kevin Jones, probably Britain’s funniest practising doctor who last year, sold out his One Man Show at the Edinburgh Fringe. Find out more about Kevin here!

CFM is responsible for managing funds for Jamie Carragher’s 23 Foundation, the Liverpool ONE Foundation, Hill Dickinson and Peel Ports.
