I’m Lea, Cluster Sales Executive looking after Sports & Entertainment at Hyatt Regency and Hyatt House Manchester and also Hyatt Regency and Hyatt House London Stratford.

Career highlight

I started my journey with Hyatt four years ago, just after moving to the UK from France, as a Front Office intern. I then joined the Sales team as Groups Coordinator, where I found my passion for planning sports and entertainment stays. Now, four years later, I’ve just moved to the proactive sales side, focusing on Sports & Entertainment, which feels like a really exciting next step.

What’s the best thing about pro-manchester?

The best thing about pro-manchester is the sense of pride and connection to the city. It brings together people who genuinely care about Manchester, its businesses and its future, creating a strong community that celebrates and supports the city.

What are your priorities for 2026?

My priority for 2026 is to establish myself in my new role and grow my network within the sports and entertainment industry, creating new connections and opportunities along the way.

What do you think are the most important things going on in Manchester at the moment?

I think Manchester’s growth as a major sports and entertainment destination is really exciting. The investment around the Etihad Campus, Co-op Live and the number of major events such as Oasis residency coming to the city are bringing even more international attention and opportunities to Manchester.

Favourite meeting place in Manchester

Definitely our 18th-floor Lounge. The views are amazing, and it’s such a nice place to meet while enjoying Manchester from above.

Are there any particular types of businesses that you would like to meet?

I’d love to connect with more sports and entertainment businesses, particularly sports clubs, event organisers, agencies and companies involved in organising team travel, major events and entertainment.
