Hi – I’m Sam.
As General Manager of Huckletree, I’m proud to lead a vibrant, collaborative shared workspace where businesses and individuals can thrive.
My role is all about creating the right balance between commercial success, operational excellence and a strong sense of community.
Outside of work you can find me throwing shapes at gigs and festivals and getting out and about with my family and our bonkers border terrier, Chip.

Becoming General Manager at Huckletree and having the opportunity to lead such an incredible team has been the highlight of my career so far – I love coming to work every day!

What’s the best thing about pro-manchester?
How welcoming and friendly everyone is! From the pro-manchester team to the wider member network, everyone is incredibly welcoming. There’s never any need to feel nervous at events; someone is always happy to chat or make an introduction.
What are your priorities for 2026?
I’ve recently turned 40 so health and happiness are high on my personal agenda.
Professionally, I’d love to see our Huckletree community continue to grow and welcome even more exciting businesses into the space.
What do you think are the most important things going on in Manchester at the moment?
As someone who used to work in Ardwick, I’m really excited by the development around Mayfield and the South of the city. It’s becoming one of Manchester’s most exciting areas to watch.
Favourite meeting place in Manchester
Stray bar has the best cocktails and late PM vibes.
Are there any particular types of businesses that you would like to meet?
I’d love to meet businesses of all sizes, particularly those looking for office space or considering joining a collaborative coworking community.
