As organisations take careful steps towards the planning of larger events once again, the Manchester PA Network has turned to one of the event industry’s most established organisers, Liz Taylor, CEO of the Taylor Lynn Corporation (TLC), to develop and relaunch next year’s annual awards.

The partnership will see TLC as preferred event partner for both the Manchester PA Network and their annual awards event, to be held in Manchester on November 11, 2021.

The Manchester PA Network is a not-for-profit organisation, co-founded by Amanda Hargreaves and Melanie Sheehy in July 2011. Since the network launched, Amanda and Melanie have been joined on the executive board by Jane Brazzill and Michaela Wakeman. Visit:www.manchesterpanetwork.co.uk/

The Awards was established in 2015 with 280 guests and has gone from strength to strength with last year’s event attracting over 700 guests.  The event looks to take a new creative direction next year, whilst continuing to offer PAs, EAs, VAs and support professionals from across Manchester the opportunity to celebrate professionals who have exceeded expectations and exemplify hard work, dedication and passion within their roles.

The Manchester PA Awards will also continue to be run as not-for-profit, with all money raised from the event being donated to The Christie Charity. This money has helped the Manchester PA Network raise over £200,000 for the charity, which is very close to their hearts.

‘After 35 years as an event planner I know one thing for certain; the role of the PA is invaluable not only to their employer, but they are key contacts for the service industry, says Liz Taylor

‘I have worked with some of the best PAs in the business, and understand their immense skills, creativity and professionalism. This is exactly why I was delighted to be invited to work alongside the executive committee in producing such an important event, and to offer my long-term support of the Manchester PA Network.

‘Post Covid-19, many people and companies are also feeling the need for a new beginning.  A chance to hit that reset button, and where needed, change direction. This event is no exception.  Together we will create a night that truly honours the work of our region’s PAs; in a fresh and exciting live event experience.’

Manchester PA Network co-founder, Amanda Hargreaves, explains: ‘Liz Taylor and TLC are synonymous with meticulous planning, depth of experience and huge levels of creativity.  In organising an awards event in the current climate, being able to find an event partner that fuses both these key skills was essential to us.’

She added: ‘We were mindful that, whilst creating an event that is safe for all, we didn’t want to do an awards night that felt sterile or forced.  Liz and her team are developing some amazing ideas and we are confident that they will deliver an awards night that honours all our PAs.’
