You’ll hear firsthand from a panel of experts with backgrounds in therapy, coaching, leadership and finance who have navigated uncertainty and turned it into personal and professional growth.

During the event, we’ll explore where the imposter mindset originates—looking at factors like perfectionism, fear of failure, and societal pressures. Our panel will share practical tools to help you identify, address, and move beyond these limiting beliefs, empowering you to thrive in a changing world.

About the Speakers:

Kate Cocker Founder - Presenter Coach

Kate Cocker wants you to be heard.

Kate specialises in helping businesses and business leaders speak their brand to engage new & existing clients.

She has 20+ years of experience working with broadcasters, business owners and high performers to get them to be great presenters. From public speaker training for business leaders and corporations; to coaching broadcasters, to training online trainers to be comfortable and confident on camera, Kate is passionate about helping people tell their stories so they can change their corner of the world.

Kate’s wrap-around approach means in recent times she and her team have helped her clients to perform on conference stages across the globe, steer them through virtual speaking (both with tech and speaking skills), supported change makers to hone their messaging, coached C-Suite executives in Board presentations and has supported many leaders to land their key messages on international media outlets.

She is co-founder of the podcast production company “Purposeful Podcasts”, is an Alumni of the DCMS Audio Content Fund Panel and is also the voice behind British Podcast Award winning daily podcast: “Everyday Positivity”. Kate is a qualified NLP Practitioner and Coach, has an ILM5 in Leadership and is an iMA Strategies Practitioner.

Sean Turner Manchester Site Executive and Global Head of Corporate Trust Operations - BNY

 

Sean is the Global Head of Corporate Trust Operations and is part of the Executive Committee responsible for that business. This encompasses his Platform Leadership Operations practice role for the Loans Enablement Enterprise Platform and Structured Debt Client Platform, soon to include Conventional Debt Client Platform.

Hired in 2005 in Manchester, UK, as part of an apprenticeship / early careers programme, during his almost two decades, Sean has worked across multiple businesses and disciplines within the firm.

His career has spanned Custody, including Settlements, Income and Tax operations, supporting the Asset Servicing business; Payments, Investigations, Reconciliation and Client Services, primarily supporting our Treasury Services business; and Liquidity, Central Bank & Infrastructure monitoring, supporting our Corporate Treasury and Finance function.

During his tenure, Sean has played an instrumental role in some of the firm’s most notable successes, including becoming a direct participant and shareholder in the UK Clearing House Automated Payment System (CHAPS) and in TARGET2, the equivalent Eurozone payment system, as well as some of the biggest technology and operating model enhancements.

In 2016, Sean was named ‘Banker of the Year’ in the Greater Manchester, ‘Made in Manchester’ awards.

In December 2017, Sean was appointed as ‘Senior Director’, and in 2022 an ‘Executive Manager’. He is responsible for 2,000 people over 16 locations across the globe.

In addition to his functional, operational role, Sean has also been appointed the role of Manchester Site Executive. Manchester is 1 of 6 Strategic Global Locations and has 2,000 employees across 30 functions. Sean is responsible for the site, driving the strategy, including people engagement, our relationship with charity, government and industry partners, amplifying the firm’s brand to attract talent and for the development of our real-estate and infrastructure execution.

Martina Witter is a Director of Award Winning Rapha Therapy & Training Services, BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behaviour Therapist, Keynote Speaker, Confidence coach ,Health and Wellbeing Consultant, Author , Podcast Host ( Rivers to Resilience), Blogger, Resilience Expert, Founder of Black Mental Wealth and Cofounder of Black Women in Business and Professionals Network.

Martina is a Vice Co-Chair of Greater Manchester Combined Authority Race Equality Panel CIPD Manchester Committee Member (Student Lead ) and Co-Chair Pro-Manchester Wellbeing Champions Committee.

Martina has over 20 years experience working within the wellbeing and mental health field empowering diverse Individuals (children and adults ) and organizations to leverage resilience, reduce stress and develop sustainable strong mindsets that allows them to turn bottlenecks into breakthroughs, increase performance and productivity in organizations. Due to her contributions to the field, she has been featured in HuffPost, Thrive Global ,Metro, The Voice, Financial Times and BBC Radio Manchester and worked with Global Brands including AMEX, JD Group and Oliver Wyman.

Martina delivers transformational, dynamic and experiential training whilst also having a passion to see Individuals thrive holistically in life through being revived, restored and refocused. Martina delivers Coaching and psychological therapy in innovative and accessible ways. Martina draws upon her life experiences including bereavements (traumatic unexpected loss of her mother whilst in the final year of University) , divorce , rejection, depression and stress to connect with, empathize and empower her audience and clients whilst sharing how she has successfully navigated adversity and utilized this for transformation and growth.

Martina has a passion for business, inclusivity and collaboration which is evident through Black Mental Wealth, a platform for Black and Mixed heritage Individuals which challenges the mental health stigma and raises awareness of mental health along with culturally appropriate solutions.
Black Women in Business and Professionals Network (BWIBP) which improves opportunities for career and business growth through expanding networks and creating access to Black female role models. BWIBP runs quarterly networking events in Manchester hosting stellar business.
