Jane is a Partner at PwC LLP where she leads the North West Government and Public Sector Risk Assurance practice.
Born in Durham, Jane grew up in Nottingham before heading to University in Leeds. After completing a Masters in European Politics, she joined PwC’s Leeds office in 2001 where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2004 before transferring to the Firm’s Manchester office in 2009. In 2013, Jane was made Partner and has since then been responsible for PwC’s 100 strong Risk Assurance practice across the North West. Jane’s clients have included both national and regional Government agencies and public bodies, including three Regulators, ten Registered Social Landlords and five of the North West’s Higher Education Institutions. Jane has a keen interest in the Social Housing sector and leads the firm’s National Social Housing team.
Jane has been involved in pro-manchester since 2010 when she joined the Skills Committee, taking over the position of Chair from 2015. Jane has been a Director of the pro-manchester Board since July 2015.
Jane lives in Manchester with her husband Martin and daughter Evie. She is a life-time supporter of Manchester United and a self-confessed shopaholic.
